Licensing
After a 30-day trial period, Reitec.Testplan must be licensed. The various licensing methods are explained below, along with their respective advantages and disadvantages.
Cloud licensing
With cloud licensing, a connection to our cloud server is established when the program is started and a license is searched for. If a free license is available, it is reserved for the workstation. Otherwise, the license must be available for this workstation.
Advantages of cloud licensing
* No installation of license components on your own servers necessary.
- A license can always be retrieved if there is an existing Internet connection.
- No administrative tasks are necessary when renewing the maintenance contract.
Disadvantages of cloud licensing
- If there is no Internet connection, no license can be retrieved.
Single-user licensing
With single-user licensing, each PC on which Reitec.PMM is installed must be licensed. Activation takes place in the program under Help → Activate License. Here, the user selects a license file sent to them by us.
