Area: Common Tolerances

During export, the common tolerances can be calculated for marked dimensions without a tolerance specified. In this area you can view the standard definitions and create your own definitions.

There are two different definition types “Table-based” and “Precision-based”. The first depends on the value of the test dimension and the second depends on the specified precision of the dimension.

A definition consists of two elements of the superordinate “class” and the associated “tolerance groups”. Ideally, groups are created for all dimension classes (lengths, angles, chamfers) and assigned to a class.
