Data sheets contain the meta data of an element. The fields displayed in the data sheet differ depending on the category of the selected data record. The data stored in the data sheet serves as a basis for the later search for elements. The more precisely and completely the data sheets are filled in, the better search results can be achieved later.

The editing mode is activated via the corresponding function in the menu bar of the data sheet.
