MeXX Microsoft Office Integration

Word and Powerpoint

The following functions are available in Word and PowerPoint .

Save
Saves the opened file under a name to be specified in MeXX.

Check-in
Unlocks the file and transfers the changes to the file server.

Checkout
Locks the current file for editing. If changes have already been made, these are retained.

Undo Checkout
Discards the current changes and unlocks the file.

Picture
This function is used to insert an image stored in MeXX.

File Link
Inserts a link to a file saved in MeXX.

Excel

The same functions are available in Excel as in Word and PowerPoint. But there are also functions for creating data links.

The functions “Refresh MeXX Data” and “Create Link” are explained in the chapter Excel Data Links.
