Command: Export

Saves all dimension values and there tolerances into a csv-file or an excel-file.

Numerous settings can be made in the displayed dialog

Testplan type definition

Here you define which test plan is to be exported.

File type

Specify the output format: Excel file (.xlsx), Excel file with macros (.xlsxm), CSV file (.csv). When exporting to an Excel file, an Excel template file must also be selected, this can also be an empty file.

Prefix

Specify a prefix that precedes the export file name.

File name

File name of the output file.

Excel template

Excel test plan template into which test planning data is to be exported.

During Excel export, all test planning data is stored in a separate Excel worksheet. To simplify the creation of test plans, we recommend that you create the final test plan in a second worksheet and reference the exported data using references.

This procedure results in the test plans almost by itself.

Hide worksheet

If this option is activated, the test plan worksheet is hidden.

Create PDF (output folder)

If this option is activated, the current drawing is saved as a PDF file in the output folder.

Create PDF (source folder)

If this option is activated, the current drawing is saved as a PDF file in the folder of the drawing.

Export Testplan.Author data

You can export the complete data as a Testplan.Author project file. With that file, along with the PDF drawing, you can revise the testplan with Reitec.Testplan.Author.

Common tolerances

Determines whether common tolerances for marked dimensions without specified tolerance are to be calculated. The tolerance class to be used can be defined via the selection list. You can define your own tolerance classes in the Options dialog.

It is also possible to define user-defined tolerances that only apply to the current export process.
