The installation is different for the FREE and PRO version. Make sure you use the use the correct chapter of the help.
Reitec.PMM requires some prerequisites for execution, these are possibly installed in a first step. Depending on the installed prerequisite, a restart may be required. For more information, see Client Program (PRO).
Select the language in which you want to use Reitec.PMM. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Select an installation folder and click “Next” to proceed with the installation.
Click “Install” to start the installation of the program.
Reitec.PMM is installed. Wait until the installation is complete.
The installation is complete. Click “Finish” to exit the installation wizard.
An installation of the PRO version includes up to 3 parts:

Click “Install” to start the installation of the program.
Reitec.PMM is installed. Wait until the installation is complete.
The installation is complete. Click “Finish” to exit the installation wizard.
The Reitec.PMM Client can also be installed as a silent installation. For this purpose, the necessary information, such as, for example, the “database name” must be provided as parameters.

Reitec.PMM can also be installed on an existing SQL-Server by simply running the client setup of the PRO version. In this case the database schema will be automatically initalized during the setup.

We recommend the variant with tools.
Click “New Stand-Alone SQL-Server Installation ….” to start the installation.
Accept the license conditions and activate the checkbox for transmission of usage data. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Download and install all available updates. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Select the features to be installed (Database Engine Services / Management Tools Simple) and the installation path. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Now defined the instance. We recommend using a default instance, but you can also use Reitec.PMM in conjunction with a named instance. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Enable the SQL-Server Database Engine and SQL-Server Browser services, and set the startup type to “Automatic”. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Enable the desired authentication method. You get the maximum flexibility in “Mixed mode”. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
Enable error reporting if desired. Click “Next” to continue with the installation.
A special PMM plugin is available for the Reitec.AutomationServer. This plug-in can automatically send e-mail notifications.
