====== Area: Project Parameter ======

In this area you can view and edit the existing project parameters.

Project parameters can be output in addition to the characteristic data during export. The actual values are entered in the "Project parameters" dialogue. See chapter [[testplanswx:20:use:project|Project parameters]]. 

There are two types of project parameters, which differ in the property "Source". The source indicates where the value for a parameter is specified. There are two sources: Test plan editor and Manual. Only parameters with the source "Test plan editor" are displayed in the "Project parameters" dialogue, but the parameters with the property "Manual" are displayed and edited in Reitec.Testplan.QCC.

The following properties are available in the "Project parameters" dialogue.

^Name ^Description ^
|Display Name | Displayed name of the project parameter. |
|Parameter type | Underlying data type of the parameter (text, integer, floating point number, date, boolean). |
|Default Value | Default value of the parameter is set when the "Parameter" dialogue is called up for the first time. |
|Source | Indication where the project parameter can be written. |
|Source Key | If the project parameter is to be written with the value of a file property, the key displayed in the "File Properties" dialogue must be entered here. |

In the exported Excel file, project parameters can be found from line 5000 onwards.
